Jimi It stands for Blue Winged Olive. They vary in colour from area to area. But you can try this dry fly pattern. Hook - Your favorite dry fly hook size 16 to 22 Tail - Dark Dun hackle fibers Body - Light greyish olive dubbing Wing - Any feathers you chose dyed or natural blue dun. I prefer to use T-base turkey feathers. Hackle - I like to use a mixed hackle of blue dun and alight dun or tan. When ever possible I like to blend colours. I believe mixed colours give a more natural appearance.
