You have an open invitation to come here to St. Louis and actually fish the Mississippi in rainy season any time you want! It's not to flood stage yet so I'd wait a couple months if you want the full effect. You'll have a good chance of latching into floating logs, tugboats, barges and the occasional carp or catfish. I'll stand back and watch, cellphone ready with the coastguard number pre-dialed just in case!
