Awhile back, I met this guy who was a Deschutes River jetboat outfiitter/guide. He was finishing his last year on the river and was wanting to change directions. He was developing this wet suit wading system for flyfishers. The idea was that you waded like normal, but when you wanted to go to the next hole, you simply lifted your feet and floated down to the next run. Not exactly my idea of fun (swimming to me is 'staying alive when I am in the water!') Since I haven't seen these wading outfits appear in Cabela's, he probably found something else to do with his life -- like managing water allocations for the Klamath River....*sigh* Wes Wada Bend, Oregon
