Hi Everybody,
I’m back from the wilds of San Diego. Unfortunately I didn’t get to do any fishing but I did find a great shop: stroud’s tackle in San Diego

Bill & Eileen (and Jerry) made a visiting flyfisher extremely welcome and we had a great conversation. Eileen ties some beautiful flies. I picked up a needlefish (for the local barracuda) and some sand fleas/sand crabsw which I’m hoping will work well with the pompano here in Florida.
So when I get back my wife had a new renzetti traveler waiting for me! (from my daughter ; -> ). I was out there in California for my birthday so we didn’t get to see each other. It was almost as good of a present as seeing my wife and daughter after a week. I think my 6 month old daughter’s smile was the best present of all though!
I’ll send some swap updates and a vise question in separate threads. It’s good to be back.
