Last night I bleached some big streamer hair, synthetic...and the water seemed to stop the bleaching process well enough for me. If your wary, then take a little clump of it, bleach it, and see if the water will be good. Also, dont leave it un attended. I stuck a small piece of deer hair in bleach and left the room for about 3 minutes, and came back to a gooey mess.

Howdy,

I was thinking of bleaching some synthetic tying material in chlorine beach and was wondering what to counteract the beaching process with...is a good water rinse sufficient, or is there something I can soak the material in to immediately stop the bleaching process? Long time has passed from those Saturday morning labs in college chemistry!
