The clouser arm is a straight arm for the traveler (instead of the bent
arm).

Makes it easier to tie the bucktail for clousers and others when you
flip it over.

Of course, Allan had the best suggestion for replacing the clouser arm:
turn the fly over! ;-> I'm used to that and it'll save me $!

and wood and have it cast in brass at a local foundry

2 - Is the clouser arm (at $105) for the regular traveler worth it?

3 - I got the C clamp model. Anybody know of a good pedestal base
    that's not $50?
