Well folks, I made it in late last night. Was a long drive back. I hated to leave ahead of schedule but felt that it was necessary. I feel that I cheated myself in a way because I wanted to spend a day or 2 with Tony and glean all the information I could, plus just enjoy his company. I have an appointment this afternoon to see if we can determine the cause of my discomfort and try to get a handle on it. I had a fantastic time at the show, and the "Company" was priceless. I actually felt bad because of the illness I was not in my best form and wanted to do more.
The trip back was rather eventful. I had 2 instances where I had difficulty with "Flame the Wonder Buggy", ( What I call my little Datsun 4X4 Pick Up). Had a fuel filter plug up going into OK City, bad, timing with traffic. I had a spare so got it replaced and back on the road. Then I had a thermostat crater just as I got into Texas. Argued with it and got water in the the system and back on the road. Got in about 11 last night. Have to survey all the "Problems" that developed while I was gone and get some other things taken care of that developed this morning. Have to get on things now but will update everyone on my "Great Adventure" this evening. Thanks again Tony for the great opportunity and hospitality. I was informed that we will try to make it as a "Family" next year and spend more time so we can fish. Also, Tony, I noticed this morning that my forms were not in the truck.
