[VFB] Stacking Hair

Thanks for all the input on stacking hair.  I am using 6/0 flat wax thread.  I will try dressing the hook and see if that makes a difference for me.  I am still looking to see if bucktail will perform any differently than deer body or belly hair.  Lots of good ideas for spinning but that's the problem.  I don't want it to spin, I am trying to stack it then pack it with a packing tool that Chris Helms uses, an I keep breaking my thread.  If I leave it loose it spins.  I watched a guy at Southfield tie poppers for an hour and of course he made it look far easier than the time I'm having.  Deb from what I understand you might be able to shed some more light on this.  Again thanks all for your help.       Fish-On Jon Emmons
