I never really had that much luck with buggers, except in alaska the egg sucking leech was my #1 fly, But here on my home waters nothing. ive fished them alot and no success.Well last nite turned the tied for me, nothing was happening on the top of the water so i tossed out buggers.I was determined to catch a fish. After listening to those on this list catch fish with them i knew i could to. so i used weighted ones, black ones, olive, and tan, unweighted, whatever, every way imaginable ,up stream ,down, across, i could see the fish turn but still nothing. So i tied on a black, bead chained, rubber legged demon bugger and bang,a nice 14 incher, i fished a long deep run and boom, fish!I began to get very excited, so i fished very aggresive from then on, under trees, through trees, around log jams,in the stumps, I worked a quartemile of nasty cover and pulled out over a dozen nice fish 14-18 inch browns,Man im hooked on those buggers now. I got home around midnite went to the bench and tied till 130 in the morning. Going back out tonite with my new majical buggers.
