John -
That'd be the Overseas box. I really don't think we should expect to see that anytime soon as there were real problems, first re: UPS and later re: exorbitant postage. I've not seen where it is lately but it won't be in your mailbox anytime soon, methinks.
Maybe we can talk John Martinez into slightly altering the rotations in light of how long it's taking the overseas box to circulate. I would suggest, for instance, that the last Western sends to Eastern and then the last person in the last US group to see a box could then send it along it's overseas way. More specifically, we "Easterners" saw the red box first, sent it along to Central and then it'll go to Western, and finally to Overseas. Central saw White first, and as I recall, have sent it on to Western. Since we have 1 and probably 2 (green and Western's blue) boxes circulating among the overseas list, maybe John would ok sending the White (and Blue?) box to Eastern before sending another (3d?) box overseas.
Just a thought....

(who happens to be in the Eastern group and eager to see another box, too!)

I think I can help here in John's apparent absence. I saved some of John's posts from last January. Copies of relevant parts of John Martinez's posts follow:

From John Martinez's 1/26/03: post:
Perp Swap Mailing List Part-1

There are four boxes in the swap, one each for the eastern, central and
western US and one for all the overseas tyers. Respectively, the boxes
are Red, White, Blue and Green. There will be a strip of tape of the
appropriate color on each box. Boxes will first circulate within their
respective groups and then to the next group in the following order: Red
to White, White to Blue, Blue to Green and Green to Red. That is, the
last tyer on the Eastern US list will send the box to the first tyer on
the Central US list. The last tyer on the Central list will send it to
the first tyer on the Western list and so on. If there are any
questions, please let me know off list.

In mid-March, another Canadian snafu (UPS) caused the order of the overseas list to be switched so that Mel Hocken would receive it at his US postal address and take it into Canada to circulate there. Accordingly, Mel is first on the overseas list:

Melvin D Hocken
PO BOX 3444
Blaine Washington
98231-3444

And while I'm at it, PLEASE don't forget those of us in the Eastern box, with John Ridderbos in the #1 position:

1.John Ridderboss
6385 Baneberry
Kalamazoo, MI 49009-9575
For what it's worth, I think I saved all the addresses from John's previous posts if anyone's needing it other than above.
