Hey DonO I was 35 miles offshore on Saturday and you crossed my mind, I was
hoping to pop a big fat old bull dolphin like you got on the vfb page but it was
not to be. Tuff day fishing 4 to 6 footers and the bottom was blacked out due to
an abnormal north current coming in against the regular current out of the
south, never the less still got some fishing in. Wild how people you don't even
know can think about you thousands of miles away and you did'nt even have a
clue. I am also pretty sure I will be needing a Fantsy Flie for Christmas. I
will contact you off list for that when the time comes around ( Muddler

Sorry to hear of your unfortunate fishing trip.
I first sent this to the email addy I have for you, but was afraid I had the
wrong one, so I'm sending it On List to be sure you get it.
I have
a brand new 8', 5 wt, 5 pc Pfluger "Purist" pack rod, I'll be glad to give to you. I've had it
for several years and have used it only once, when I was testing it for
Pfluger. Didn't cost me a thing. Also have the
heavy twill storage case for it. It's a beautiful little rod, dark
emerald green color and when put together, you cannot tell where the joints
are.
It casts as good as any of my rods.
If you
want it, let me know. No sense in having to save $ for another fly rod when
you can be fishing in no time with this one.
