John,
up here in NJ BH nymphs work really great when they are mudding. I've also experimented wiht bone fish flies since they both have the same feeding behavior. I've had luck wiht the smaller bonefish flies in light natural colors.

Subject: [VFB] Carp???
Hello List
I'm spending this week in Daytona Beach, Fla. Apparently the canals surrounding the golf courses where we are were stocked with carp recently. I went to try and catch some bass and was confronted by several huge carp in the 2' to 2 1/2' range. Anyone have any suggestions for flies in this area for these fish? Yes I know dough balls and corn work very well. But I figured I'd be a bit of purest and try to stick to flies.
Any thoughts appreciated, thanks.
John B
