I have both vises and I use the Renzetti for small
trout flies. I use the Dyna King for everything else. I like
the jaws on the Dyna King for gripping the larger hooks. I have the
Barracuda Jr. If I had it to do over again I would get the full sized
Barracuda. It gives you a little more room to work and a larger
base. I was able to upgrade the base to a much larger size to
accommodate my larger saltwater tying. Dyna King sells a lot
of accessories.
I have the Renzetti traveler which is a
smaller. If I could only choose one I would keep my Dyna King.
I've pulled hooks right out of the Renzetti while spinning deer hair.
That's why I bought the Dyna King.
I did recently pick up a tube fly head to my
Renzetti. I hope to experiment with that soon. It was cheaper
than the Dyna King tube fly vise.
