I tested a 7000 #7 this spring for my seatrout fishing in Denmark, and I have mixed feelings about the line. The coating makes the line shoot very well, but it has a lot of memory, and the coils made the line tangle like crazy. Stretching did not solve the problem, and I returned the line.
It may do better in warmer water though.

Hi,
I've been thinking of trying out some Airflo freshwater floating
lines. Since I haven't used the brand before I wonder if anyone
has comments on their experiences with Airflo.
Are there known advantages to their using polyurethane, as opposed to all other manufacturers who use PVC? Is the 5-year warranty related to this?
I need to replace my 3wt and my 6wt, and am thinking of trying
the River and Stream line on the 3 and the 7000 on the 6.
All raves or complaints are welcome...
Thanks very much,
Mark
