I've been fishing for bass, so I'm looking for heavy wire size 4 to 1/0. Circle hooks would be great but not expected. I use a lot of streamer hooks. I use a lot of different hooks.
I've just started fishing a lake where the decent sized bass don't seem to hit anything small. Even 10's don't get a second look. But put out a fat 1/0 then there's some fishin'.
