Jimmy,

I kindly disagree - my pleasure on the water does not depend on the quality of my tackle. I remember a day where I caught lots of nice trout in a reservoir. Reel was an old one which I saved from my very early days, rod was an inexpensive one with a broken top which I fixed with a sewing needle and some glue and thread.
At the end of the day it starts raining very heavily, I had caught 10 trout, the rod's tip was broken again and I was quite happy with the day.
Can't imagine that a Sxgx, O***s or other supa drupa stuff had been able to impove that day.

The tackle I like most is build by myself: flies (of course), leader, rods. Jimi is happy to add reel. Maybe I start furling a flyline some day <G>

But anyway, I love your quotes - always food for thoughts and memories.

Keep on quoting....
