Ralph Cutter strikes again in his California Fly Fisherman column (remember his column about mouse photography?):

Damselflies
"Leona Helmsley wore a damselfly brooch as she was being sentence for tax evasion. That she wasn't sporting a dung beetle is no surprise. Dung beetle hat pins and potato bug napkin rings are not often seen among the gimcracks of the rich and famous, yet damselfly icons abound.

Damselflies are lithe, quick, pert, and delightfully colored. Sporting its likeness subliminally imbues the bearer with these traits. Unfortunately for Leona, the judge was not an entomologist."
