On other subjects.... Why does a bamboo rod cost so ridiculously more
than other rods? I have often pondered this and the only thing I can think
of
is the time it takes to manufacture them.
Having played with building them, ( haven't completed one yet, but
working on an Osage and "Secret" rod), labor intensive, lots of throw away
material being selective, and the "Love" involved in making one. Not to
mention the cost of the special tools and materials to just make one.
