Just figured I would share a fishing report and some photo's with you all. I
don't know about you folks but I love to read about fellow VFB'ers fishing!
SO SPEAK UP anybody else been fishing? Got photo's? Share em. Anyway I had
the day off but ended up getting a late start this morning so I had to stay
close. I went to a near by creek called stevens (you may have seen the last
photo's). It was warm out by 10:00 and the water is low and clear for this
time of year. I wonder how things will look in August? Not too good if we
don't get some more rain. I ended up catching 6 coastal cutthroat plus a
bunch of small one's, probably a mix of resident fish (small) and sea going
(larger & brighter). The sea-run cutt's are just starting to enter the
rivers around here, not too many yet. Most are still in the estuaries. Thing
will start hopping late August & September for sea run cutt's around here.
These are not large fish but real gems that are starting to make a comeback
due to catch & release only regs. All fish were caught on a version of the
rolled muddler. Anyway I hope you enjoy the photo's.
