I'm alive and well Don! Fishing was brutal. Andy will never fish that Adams you gave him. He was so excited, he put it in his golf hat and it's still there. Had a great time in the park. What a spectacular place to hang for a few weeks. Thanks again for your hospitality. -Jeff

Jeff,
Don't know what that sculpin pattern consists of, but
I tie pretty good mink and chinchilla sculpins, if you're interested.
Can you work with McFlyfoam yarn?
Do you have access to mink or chinchilla?
If not, rabbit will work.
Do you have a fax?

Subject: [VFB] Fly patterns for Alaska

I'm going to Ninilchik on the Kenai Peninsula in the beginning of September. We'll be fishing for Silver Salmon, Steelhead and very large Rainbows. I'm looking for the recipe of a fly called Schierholz Sculpin. Does anyone know how to tie this?
Thanks in advance,
Jeff C.

PS any other Alaska Sculpin patterns would be appreciated
