OK, now I have no swaps open and since I like themed swaps, I have been thinking.
I have seen so many colors of the ultra wire that is used for Copper Johns and so many different dyed pheasant tails used for Pheasant Tails that I couldn't resist buying some. Since Copper Johns and Pheasant Tails are SO productive and that there are so many different types of variations, I think there exists a possibility of having some fun. This is an OPEN swap where you tie 10 flies that use colored ultra wire and/or dyed pheasant tails. You can tie either 10 of 1 pattern or 5 of 2 patterns (so you don't use up to much of any one material.) There is NO LIMIT on the participants. Here is what happens: Once I receive the first 10 sets of flies, these will be swapped and sent back!! The next 10, and so forth. Since I have now hosted several swaps, there are some who want instant gratification. There are some who schedule, and finally some who want to participate but things (hopefully not bad) happen which delay them. This swap caters to each of these categories. If time goes by where there is no activity for over 3 weeks then I will close out and probably fill it up with flies I tie so it will be complete.
