new pattern for the records!
Concerning gnats there is such a pattern, the knotted midge. black thread, and one hackle at the rear end of the hook and one at the eye.

Scott, funny name, indeed. But no kidding. This is an official pattern from Goddard/Clarke. I had the German name only by hand, therefore I translated it back to English.
