---We haven't had a summer this year. There have been a couple of days when it
reached 90, but most have been rainy and below 80. Spring weather. Of course, this
is after several years of drought. I crossed the Patuxent River yesterday, and even
with 14 or more inches of rain above our normal, the banks were still about 6 feet
exposed.

In the last ten days of fishing, I haven't even gotten a nibble. I see fish, and they
see the lure, fly, jig, bait, whatever I throw. they look at it, they sniff it, and
they say "Ahhhh. . . no." And swim away.
I watch it happen. Flies that have been consistant killers, and they look and reject.
Earth worms are rejected. I don't know what's up.
