     TOM,

The Integrity Reels, as Mentioned before, are Highly regarded here in So Cal by the Surf Faternity.... We Love 'Em!!!!!!!

Just out Yesterday morning, fishing with Ray S. & Sung Lee... two great Fellow Surf Bums, perfect gents to enjoy a Morning in the Surf with. I was at First fishing my 6 wt. in the Surf...that is with the Integrity 6/7 reel...  Then we, on my suggestion, drove north to the Gonzales Street Power Plant.. Because this is the Area I go to to fish for Leopard & Grey Smoothhound Sharks..(To 5 feet in Length!!!!!!!). I rigged up my 8 wt., which has a Bauer Reel on it... However, Sung's rig has a Integrity 8/9 reel on it..  We saw a fare amount of Smoothhounds (Think Dogfish & you'll get the Idea) Afew Leopards (Thought I did observe a 4 footer working the Outflow channel....Jaws!!!!). And this is a First for all three of us... Hordes of Smooth Round and Thornback Round Guitarfish!!!! They must have been over 150 of them in & around the Outflow/Dis-charge Channel from the Power Plant!!!! I hooked 2 of them... we must have Foul Hooked 15 of them.. They were swimming everywhere & they would cross paths with your fly... They fight very well, in fact they have to have constant preassure applied during the Fight or they will do a Suction Cup thing on the Bottom and prove near impossible to move... Sung's Integrity Reel held up just fine to the Guitarfish.....

As long as one is serious in their post Saltwater outing cleaning...the Integrity Reels will hold up just fine....Wash them completely in freshwater after a Surf Session...

I am already planning my next vist to the Power Plant... I want to catch more Sharks on the Fly!!!!!!!
