There have been a few questions about this. The dead line is a week from Sunday. I forgot to list one rule. You must be a dues paying member of VFB! This is not being done to distract from VFB but to be a supplement to it. The pattern maybe of your own creation or a standard fly pattern. With us going into the Pacific salmon runs I would prefer that the patterns are limited to those. There will be an Atlantic Salmon fly of the month coming up so please save those for then. All patterns submitted will be listed with your name as the tyer, in a photo gallery.
As most of you know I have a website. I am looking for a Fly of the month for Sept thru Oct. Rules 1. Must be a steelhead, salmon or sea/lake run brown trout. 2. Only a pattern & a pic need to be submitted. If you can’t take a digital pic. I will take one for you if you send the fly; I get to keep the fly ☺. Patterns only sorry those will be disqualified. PRIZE The prize this month will be 2 bags of silk dubbing. With 2 runners ups receiving one bag of silk dubbing. The dubbing is of good quality; I blend & dye it myself.
