Here's hoping you get a real SLAB of a bluegill this weekend on that new rod of yours! :-) In honor of being unemployed, what better thing for me to do on Labor Day weekend than celebrate by going fishing! A colleague and fellow UNMC alumnus friend of mne are going to try to hit a couple of South Fork tribs either tomorrow, Monday, or better yet both. The South Fork conditions have taken another wrong turn recently after it got hot again, and flows are back above 10,000cfs... :-( Perhaps recent rains put a stop to that noise, we'll give it a shot.
