Greetings Tony, Paul, et al. ! ( hey that rhymes...)

   How "old" and/or "classic" are we talking here?  Earlier than patterns like Coachman, Royal Coachman, Orange Asher, Pink Lady, Red Ibis, McGinty, and Black Gnats with huge gaudy wihite wings...? Or waaaaaaaaaaaaay old, like when they first discovered bamboo as a rod material?  I think Terry Helleckson did a fine job, very inclusive as well, with his 2 volume set, Fish Flies, although I have a sneaky feeling you're interested in further back than this.
