I had an [e-mail] exchange with Harrison Steeves recently regarding woven bodied flies and he mentioned his work with Kreinik.
During my web research on woven flies, I have seen examples of your fine work with extended bodies. Quite nice.
Do you weave the extensions separately from the the main fly body and then attached them to the hook, or do you do it all in one step?
I have experimented a little with extended bodies for my "Granny Bugs", but have not met with satisfactory results.
