As detailed more fully below, I think the Red Box is lost and uninsured. I was hoping Jimi Genzling would respond to my 9/12 and 9/18 inquiries but I've not heard a word. In checking his posts, it looks like he's not been around much since 9/12. If anyone knows Jimi, I'd sure appreciate your asking him about insurance on the box. Knowing it's uninsured is at least knowing.
Maybe it'll magically show up @ Rix Benson's as Jimi's related he had some trouble getting the box in the first place due to post office delays. Please let me know if it does, Rix.
Don't know what else to do here....

Jimi -
Rix Benson says he never got the red box (see below).
You wrote to me late last month to inform me that you mailed the red
box in early July, perhaps shortly after telling me of your delayed (due
to post office) receipt of it. Without causing undue concern, could you
verify you actually mailed it to Rix? I know it took your post office
forever to get it to you. Could it still be at the post office?
As detailed below, John Martinez asked swappers to insure the package
for $300. Although we may not yet need it, could you please track down
your postal insurance receipt?
Thanks in advance.

From the swap page: ***Please use priority mail (2-3 day delivery) whenever possible. This will help speed things up. Please buy insurance for the package. If it gets lost, we can donate the money to a flyfiishing or conservation group. With 150 or more flies in each box, the retail value is in excess of $300.00. There's no way to make this mandatory, but if everyone will do it, it will be fair. The cost is not that much.
