Today, once more, I caught a mussel in a local lake. A big mussel, probably 1-1/2 lbs, 8 inches wide. Caught it on a chennile worm working across the bottom (at least I hope it was on the bottom, and the mussel didn't chase it down).
I also caught a pretty good keeper crayfish. You all may remember that last spring I caught a mussel in another lake. Not quite as big, but still a shock.
