Mark, sorry you weren't aware of it. The swap started back in April, right after Jody was operated on for breast cancer. One of my good VFB friends thought that a swap where the participants tied a special fly for Jody would be very appropriate. Boy has it ever. Jody spent most of yesterday afternoon mounting the flies in the shadow box. I started doing it and was putting them in neat rows, but Jody had a better idea, so I let her take over, as if I had a choice, :-P and she placed them HER WAY. I must say it looks a lot better than the "pedestrian" rows that I had arranged the flies in. There are 50 VFB and FFW List members who participated in the swap, and there's a multitude of colors and several pink flies. Several beautiful fully dressed Salmon flies and streamers. The box looks really neat. I mounted the flies on some very small cork stoppers spray painted flat black. Affixed the flies to the stoppers and hot glued the bigger part of the stopper to the green velvet . The flies stand off the velvet about 1/2" and are about 1/2" below the glass top of the shadow box. I took photos of the box and flies so as to send all the participants a JPG so they can see how it all turned out. Jody will hang the box on the wall of our den.

Cheers!
