Have a great article on saltwater whistlers which included
a mullet pattern which I submitted to Byard a few months ago.
Any word on this Byard?

Mullet Flashtail Whistler

Silver flash, extends 1/2 inch beyond grey bucktail tail
Red chenille hot but- infront of bucktail
Grey marabou collar (I use 3 bundles, one top, 2 shoulders)
Silver bead chain eyes
Black thread head and coat with Loon's Scalze for luminescent effect.

Chuck Allen caught a 40" snook on this pattern...........................

fishing-   Aaron Adams in on his way over from The Sanibel area and

we will be looking for snook, Tarpon, Jacks etc.  in the Cape Canaveral/ Cocoa

Beach area.

My two favorite MULLET patterns are the Sar-Mul-Mac and the pattern in

Carl Richard's Book --"Prey"--  Both  catch fish, BUT, I am looking

for a simpler pattern.  Suggestions !!
