Hey Everybody,

Just wanted to share. FYI, peacocks referring to butterfly peacocks (also called peacock bass); not the bird/material.

Went out with a friend of mine to a canal in southern Miami-Dade county on Saturday. It’s a cool place where a water control structure runs across the canal and divides it into two sections. One side of the canal is saltwater so you can fish one side of it and it's saltwater with cuda, snapper, tarpon, snook, & crocodiles. If you fish the other side it's freshwater with largemouth, peacocks, cichlids, oscars, exotics and alligators!

We didn't have much luck on the salt side but we went over to the freshwater side and our lucks was a little different! Between the two of us we managed to get some small largemouths and some nice sized peacocks! Used a combination of chart/white clousers and “peacock special” clousers.

We had a great day of fishing. Can't beat fishing with a great friend and actually catching something! Especially peacocks.

Ken
