Are you inferring that I am a Red Neck? :-P    The only hunting I do now is with my camera.  In my younger years I took my share of deer with bow and gun as well, but can't bring myself to do it anymore. I still go dove hunting with my sons, but I only shoot a bird if I know one of them or other member of our hunting party will take it for their freezer.  As you said, I'd rather do that long-range high powered rifle shooting  at those pop cans.

It's funny you should say that.  The guys at the fly shop are trying to talk me into hunting.  They won't teach me the bow but they will give me a rifle....  Go figure!    I think the bullets might be cheaper than the arrows....   ;)
Any way after talking with my husband we finally came to the conclusion that target or skeet (sp?) shooting is what would be acceptable.  I could never kill Bambi....   But he sure tastes GOOD!   Or if you're like Jimmy D....   You could always go out into the middle of bumble and shoot at tin cans filled with explosives.  <VBG>  Ya gotta always have one of them on the list right!?

If they could figure out a way to hunt and release I would do that too :)
That's it for me.
Great to be back tying
