Deb,
Just wanted you to know that I received your Green Highlander Atlantic Salmon fly yesterday. That is a beautiful piece of work. I also just received 2 dozen Alex Jackson 2051 Daiichi 3/0 Spey hooks from Byard and will attempt to tie my first "real" Atlantic Salmon fly later this week. I've tied them before, but those were on some plain old Wal Mart hooks. :-P That was a heckuva deal you and I worked out. You got your jar of my hot pickles and I got a masterpiece Salmon fly in return.
I chose the 3/0 hook because it's larger and shouldn't be too hard on my hands, like tying size 14 humpies is.
Cheers!
JIMMY D
