Not Joyce, but she did teach me this one and it has
been a go to fly for me many times. (In fact Joyce this fly on the middle
Provo was a killer in September when I was there) The Holographic tinsel does
not go over the bead.

Thorax: rainbow scud
dubbing
smash barb and slide on bead. With hook in
vice, tie on red thread, tie on holo wide flash, wind the hook shank with
red thread in an even cover. Wind the strip of holo flash over the thread to
the thorax areaa, tie down and flip back toward bend of hook but do not cut
off. Dub rainbow dubbing around the bead, bring the holo flash over to be
the thorax cover and tie down with a neat red head. A killer fly given me by
its inventor, Lance Egan, owner of several Utah fishing records.
