I don't believe in spending a bunch of dollars for an expensive fly line. Friends of mine who do don't catch any more fish than I do and their lines don't last or perform any better than my Sci Anglers or Cortlands.  I usually pay around $12-15 for mine.  Only really expensive fly line I ever bought was my Teeny Sink Tip.  Paid a little over $50 for it. Never again!
