A word of caution:  the slip on end loops require heat shrink tubing be applied.  Too 
much heat damages the line.  I had one break off at the end of the loop.

I suppose you could use pliobond or goop instead of the heat shrink.

Dave Whitlock's book for L.L. Bean has a couple of techniques for making loops; Lefty 
Kreh says to whip the loop in place with a tying bobbin.  I've had some success with 
whipping it in two places and supergluing it.  Today I simply ties a perfection loop 
in the end of a 4 weight line that broke off after bad heat shrinking.  It's not too 
bulky, and I know it will hold.
