Posted this else where and then realised just how red-neck this is but don't
knock it until you try it. Works very well but I think I'll try two coats
with a buff between.
Small town living responsible for limited access to replacement of worn line
or even a line dressing now include feud with the local rip-off-sports store
and I'm almost hooped.
My old dry line was dirty and had what looked like micro cracks and not a
100% floater anymore. My next trip to the big city for re-supply was a while
away so I started looking through the house hold cleaning supplies and came
across "Future floor finish tough acrylic protection." My line was dead;
nothing to loose... WOW! slick thru the rod guides, floatation restored, and
here it is four months later the line's finish didn't peel off. About time
for another cleaning and treatment, I think I can get another trip or two
out of my newie line for next season and just save the replacement for
later.
