Joyce, i agree whole heartedly. You have to always make sure the parents say it's ok, before you give a kid a fly. Unless of course their is no parent with the kid. But even then, i make sure the kid has a container for the fly, so he doesn't end up with it stuck in his hand. And as for the adults just looking for freebies, you can always tell who's who and where they're comming from. They gotta be cool, or they get no fly. LOL. mark

I am always grateful when I am on the receiving end..that is how I got the
Rainbow warrior pattern that Lance Egan originated and shared with me..he
was catching every cast..I'd been completely skunked. He was gracious enough
to share with me. So, I must admit, I share at shows and I also share on the
water. But, at shows, I am careful that I give to the kids as much as adults
and with the adult persons permission. I also watch out for the "grabber"
who is not interested in technique, just comes with both hands saying,
"gimme"..if you get my drift. Joyce
