Ray, "great" doesn't quite tell it like it is, lol. I "KNOW" YOU "KNOW" what
i mean. The Connaquot is the most redickalas (correct spelling, lol) place
on this or any other planet for trout fishing. Browns, (some sea run, to
over three feet long, NO BS), Rainbows, (some also sea run, basically
steelhead), and more brookies than you can ever imagine if you've never
been. They will litterally be swimming between your legs on most beats,
again, NO BS. This past Nov. i had a 40 fish day, last year a 50 fish day.
Place is just soooooooooooooo much fun!!!!!!!! Anyway Ray, that's where my
wife got so into Egg Sucking Leeches. That's the first place she ever used
one, and now it's one of her favorite flies. Plus she likes to tye them
because they're easy, lol. I wish each and every one of the folks on the
"list" could fish there at least once. Like i said, Redickalas.
mark.............."I'll be back."

For those of you that are fortunate enough to fish the Connectquot River on
Long Island, NY. They actually consider an epoxy fly as being molded and
are
not allowed to be fished there. Also weighted flies are not allowed along
with
barbed hooks. So make sure you check your flies before they do. Another fly
that is not allowed there is (or are) egg flies, unless it's an egg-sucking
leech.
It's a really great place to fish if you're ever in the area.
