We're finally getting some temps during the day time in the 40's. Most days haven't gotten out of the 20's or 30's. And at night it gets down to the single digits. So far, we've only had two storms that brought a lot of snow. Both times it was around a foot of snow. Other than that, it's been single inches in numbers, and usually only a few inches. Winter simply starts to soon, and last to long. Oh well..........mark

50 degrees for the high??? YOu guys are terrible...we've had a couple of nites with single digits and highs in the 20's...got more snow already than we know what to deal with and had a couple of times with freezing rain...oh what i'd give for 50's...

Was gifted with a book from an older cousin yesterday...Fly Tying by
William Bayard Sturgis, copyright 1940. A little battered but from what
i've seen by leafing thru..WOW. Some of the bookmarks were tearouts from
Family Circle May 1954 edition, that included a color chart of materials
and examples of wet, dry, nymphms and streamers. Also WOW!!

In case I don't reply again for a bit...Happy Holidays to All!!
