"It matters little what the weather's like, and for that matter, the time
of the year.
Rick Zieger must have his fishing every day, and on
Sundays he reads about it and makes flies. And even when he's working on
people's eyeballs, he's also thinking about his noon break on that little
pond full of bluegills. I really don't understand how he can keep his enthusiasm
up, for he averages 25 fish each day on that little pond.
;-) Maybe it's because he puts
them back and they, knowing this, are glad to let him catch them just so
they can say hello. I've heard that Rick knows all the larger fish by name
and upon walking up to the bank, hollers out - Hey ya'll! I'm here! Who
wants to be caught first? Hi Gloria! Hi Thomas. Where's your babies."
