Subject: [VFB] Good Morning

Good Morning my VFB friends.
I have been off list for a while but I had to get back on for a short to

wish you all
A very Joyous and safe Holiday Season.
Today I have been married to the same lady for 53 years. Yes, I am older

than dirt.
It is also one year today that I had the knee replacement done.
I have received some messages from list members that have been concerned

about my welfare.
I just had too much to do and the spam got out of hand. I now have a
spam blocker through my server, this keeps me from sifting through a
load of junk.
I have also been having problems with the knee replacement . It seems
that the metal is being rejected by my body system.
This has kept me from spending time at the tying bench and getting other

things done. It has also kept me from doing fly fishing shows, it is
frustrating.
I will be back on the list for two weeks and then off again for a while.

Will be going back on January 5 th. to have the knee replaced again with

a ceramic coated knee joint. Hope that will solve the problem. I will be

in for about 17 days for surgery and rehab with another three months of
rehab after I go home. Will get back on list again when I can sit at the

computer.
I hope to get some tying in while recouping. I am anxious to start tying

with the CDC I got from Harry Mason. These feathers look very
interesting. Have not tied much with CDC. I am sure Hans can give me
some hints.
Now to get back to Fly fishing things.
I still have to finish wrapping a rod and have two bamboo blanks to make

before the surgery so I had better get off this electronic monster and
get to work.
Thanks again to all my friends on this list for just being a friend..
