Hi Harmen and All Thanks for the note. I grew up on PEI. a small island on the East End. I remember as a child crossing the ice by horse and sleigh for Christmas mass at Sturgoen. There would be a number of sleighs all with bells. A sight we'll never see again. The island had no fresh water streams so all trout fishing was restricted to salt water a good piece from any fresh. My Grandfather fished Wheelers Bar, a couple of miles from shore, a windswept place with big tidal flows. I fished there a few times but mostly I fished the inner bay. Calmer and easier to fish but with nice sea run brook trout. Lots of Brill was the attraction for the trout. I don't suspose anyone fishes these areas nowadays. Does anyone still use the Blockhouse Whisker Bug? Mave a very Merry Christmas. Paul
