Got my flies in the mail just as we were getting ready to leave for Sacramento to spend Christmas with our daughters and grandson. They look awesome!! Thanks to all the people who contributed and thanks to Mark for doing such a great job as swapmeister. It was a great Christmas present.
On a separate note, I didn’t join the Christmas tree swap being run by Rene because we didn’t set up a tree this year. December was not the best of months. My mother died in the first week and I had to fly to Seattle. My wife found a lump in her breast. Biopsy was done day before I flew to Seattle, cancer found so mastectomy performed on Dec. 15. Follow up on Dec 23 at least revealed that the cancer had not spread to the lymph yet – praise God. I am humbly requesting prayer to help Carmen get better and get her strength back and so we can move on with His strength and blessings next year.
