Is anyone else planning on fishing for New years day? I'll be fishing a pay Hi Dave,
I fished there last winter for a day. The Tait Ranch has about 3 ponds. The grounds are very nice with picnic tables and BBQ pits. Fish are rainbow stockers in the 12-14" range. The bite was generally non-stop, especially with midges. The owner was putting in a float tube pond which may have been completed. The largest pond has plenty of room to practice casting, although with the gazebo that the owner put in on one side of it, it feels like your fishing in someone's backyard pool. You might want to combine your trip with a snow run to nearby Mt. Pinos. The recent snow should provide some excellent x-country skiing.
