[VFB] Hook ?

Just got an Orvis catalogue in.  On page 89 they have hooks with big eyes.  A Big eyesize 22 has hook eyes of normal size 16.  a size 16 big eye has the eye of a normal size 10. They say it ads 4.5 % in weight.   Anyone have any expereince with these or thoughts?   prices were 25/$4.75,  50/$8.50   Rick
