[VFB] VFB AGES & Average VFB'er age

Speaking of age, below are the results of an age survey that I did of VFB members in January of 2003. I asked for your age and what you tho't was the age of the average VFB'er.   There's one older now than John Dwyer, but I cannot remember his name, but I do know he's 82 years young, still ties his own flies and wades his favorite stream.  SO DON'T ANY OF YOU that participated try TO LIE ABOUT YOUR AGE!  I KEPT THE LIST.

OK, Gang!   Here's the deal!  64 of you responded.  Thats over 10% of the list.  Pretty good to get that many without getting a big ole arguement started. :-P   DonO tried, but I didn't take the bait!

Now, unless I overlooked someone, the Ages and winners are listed below:

Average age: (49.7) - One said 50 - Mark Delaney

What you think is the Average age: (46)  two said 46 - Dean Larson and Tyanna Steele

The youngest VFB'er is Josh Barnett at 13

The oldest is John Dyer at 73

Now, if you winners will send me your Snail Mail address, I'll send you something Nice!

Thanks to all of you who participated.  Was lots of fun and I also found out that there were 5 Geezers out there older than me. ;-)  Now there are 6
