At 51 years, I've gone back to school to switch careers and get a masters in teaching so that I can become certified to teach middle school and high school biology. (I am about halfway done with my program. I chuckle when 28 year old fellow students describe themselves as being "old".)

I still enjoy playing in the muck and ooze of ponds. Of course now its for the "lofty" goal of biomonitoring.
